how to prepare
Now that you know what happens during your appointment process, the next step is to get the most out of your appointment. Here are a few easy tasks that can make your appointment that much more productive:

• Preview the models. This will familiarize you with the flow and traffic patterns of the home. The models will also display both standard and/or upgrade features.

• Study a diagram of your floor plan. You may wish to alter the floor covering areas (I.E. wood replacing vinyl area, tile replacing carpet areas, etc.)

• Have a color scheme or look in mind. It may help to bring fabric swatches, paint chips, or design accessories. These items will help the appointment to flow smoothly and assist you with your color selections.

• Window Coverings play a vital role in your home. They are an item that is sometimes over looked and forgotten until the last minute, and yet these selections are so important in achieving a “ finished” look for your home. Please remember to ask your consultant about various “Window Covering” packages.

• Last but not least, have a budget in mind. If you are planning to finance your options you may want to contact your lender to determine how much can be included in your loan. Should you decide to upgrade your purchases, whether you are planning to finance them or pay cash, DEPOSITS ARE REQUIRED. Please check with your builder for your specific deposit requirements on upgraded options.
